 Rabbits do not often show obvious signs of illness until late in the development of a disease. Because of this it is very important to take note of any change in your rabbit’s appearance or behavior. |
Obvious signs of illness include runny nose, watery eyes, labored breathing, diahrea or constipation. Rabbits are generally very clean animals, so if you notice a dirty matted coat, it may be a sign of illness. Changes in behavior can also be signs of illness. If you notice a lack of appetite, inability to eat or lethargy your pet could be sick.Rabbits are as suceptable to fleas and ear mites as a cat or dog, so it is important to keep you pet in a clean environment. |
